"We had the house built in 2019, and the builder installed io Somfy electric shutters on the bay windows and the windows on the ground floor. I then purchased a TaHoma Box, and then for the roof windows I was able to install 3 motorised solar shutters by myself, using the instruction manual and a tutorial. I managed this on my own, and without any problems! I chose Velux for this: no bridge required between my Somfy box and the Velux shutters. I am very much satisfied with the perfect integration with TaHoma. It is so simple that I was able to add the Velux to my scenarios in two minutes. I set up the pairing myself, it's very intuitive."

What are the benefits?

"Scenarios are useful when I am not at home, as they allow me to simulate my presence. People can see the shutters opening and closing, the lights switching on and off, and this gives the impression that there is someone at home. I also use them to programme the closing of the roller shutters in summer if it is very hot.

For each smart roller shutter, we retained an original control point, but we also have a central remote control to control various roller shutter zones. For remote control, I use the TaHoma app."
