How to save energy and maintain comfortable temperatures year-round?

The most efficient way to do something about this is to make smarter use of that free heat source: the sun in combination with opening and closing your window coverings (roller shutters, external venetian blinds, interior blinds…)

The "Thermal Comfort" pre-set scene in the TaHoma app gives you the opportunity to optimise your well-being and energy efficiency year-round by automating your window coverings according to your devices, the season and the time of day. They automatically adjust to the right position, at the right moment, even away from home.

How does TaHoma's Thermal Comfort scene work?

Create it in a few clicks

Step-by-step guidance makes it quick and easy to create. TaHoma presets the opening and closing of your equipment according to their exposure and time of day. With or without sensors, TaHoma works for your comfort and energy savings.

In summer, as soon as the indoor temperature rises, your sun protection closes automatically to protect home from overheating. In winter, they open to catch the heat, and close when the sun sets to keep the heat in.

Key features

Responds to indoor and outdoor conditions e.q. weather conditions.

block-heat

Keep your home cooler by blocking the sun or heat on warmer days.

solar-heating

Warm up your home with the sun and keep heat in on colder days.

Optimise your energy consumption (heating, A/C), which is good for your wallet and the environment!

Add sensors to maximise performance

Outdoor sunlight and/or indoor temperature sensors can be added. Thanks to them, your window coverings can be automated in summer and winter according to the temperature inside and the level of sunlight.

Did you know? The sunlight sensor built-in the solar panel of the RS100 roller shutter and the indoor temperature sensor embedded in the Amy io wall switch can enhance the scene.
